nduka: trip to military park

when i started digital i thought it would be a walk in the park, but i came to see that it was harder than it seemed. i had to learn the different types of shots that i needed to use in my movies. even though it was hard at first, when i got to know the different shots and techniques to filming a good movie, it became a little easier to do. the trip to downtown newark was really fun and helped me get a vision on places where i should film, where i shouldn't film, and also at which angles i should film. the trip was very fun and we completed our 'i have a dream' film.

  2. You got a good, early insight into the challenges of filmmaking, digital or otherwise. In many cases, capturing the scene effectively is highly dependent on FRAMING the scene, using the principles that we learned (for instance, rule of thirds). You also saw that the effectiveness of the scene can become compromised by the LIGHT, and we saw that some angles made the images clearer. Thus the point of 'framingthelight', right? Thanks for the post.
