Mike: Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Video

The first video we produced was based on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s famous "I Have A Dream" speech. We filmed in two spots: at St. Benedict's Prep and in the city of Newark, specifically around the New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC). We had four students in our group, and one by one, we would each say a line from his speech. It was the first thing we filmed, so it helped us gain experience with the basics and fundamentals of a digital camera. It was the first thing we ever edited on iMovie HD, so it gave us a better understanding on how to edit clips. The MLK video was the first step of this class for becoming better in digital filmmaking.
