Saahir: About the course

To some, filming is a hobby, something that’s just done for fun. To others, it's a part of their life and it pays for their bills. I happen to fall in neither category because I’m taking Filming as a class. Throughout the month of class, we learned different filming techniques, how to take care of our equipment, how to use imovie, to edit and import our videos onto imovie. We were also required to read Digital Filmmaking, by author/director Mike Figgis, which was to enhance our filming. To make the class more exciting we went on film trips to locations, such as Military Park, Hoboken, and NYC. On the trips we were required to record skits, which were either given to us or created by someone in our group.
